Inspiration Quick Tour and Webspiration Classroom

According to the website I found that this program is the what our education is, all online type work and studies that involve the computer. We are becoming a paperless world. The most interesting thing I found was that you don't have to download it so you don't have to attend class to do it. I'd use it in the classroom only if someone properly teaching the students how to use it, because to me it seems like everybody has to be on point with their work no slacking and thats a problem because everybody doesn't think or work the same that might be my biggest issue on both of them but overall they are both good programs for 5-12 graders.
The best type of writing activties that would be best used in the classroom would be writing organization and planning its good to plan and organize your writing activities because if you learn early you can do it later in life when you get to college and farther your education. Students can get involved by doing a peer review segment, which is where students write a rough draft and switch papers with a classmate so the classmate can go over the paper to make corrects and give the writer some ideas. When I first taught I knew what I was teaching becuase it was football I know football like the back of my hand so it was fairly easy to get started and didn't stop until my time was up.
In conclusion, what and how we are teaching our students of today is way more non hands on type teaching because you do not have to be in a classroom to get a lesson taught you can just teach online have to student get used to checking their email and writing on blogs its because that's what the world is turning into so I always love change so that's what I'm going with.

  1. A paper less society is correct. This should be the catalyst of our new found way of life. Students might as well get adapted and aquainted with the technology, because colleges and job sites will require students to be prepared; and be knowledgable with the technology.

  2. Hi Thris,

Webspiration Classroom does help you teach paperless! In fact we published a blog post about this on Thinkspiration, the Inspiration Software blog, at http://www.inspiration.com/blog/2010/11/tools-to-teach-paperless/.

Yet beyond being a cloud computing tool that lets you work anywhere and anytime, it's a great visual learning tool. Webspiration Classroom is rooted in proven visual learning methodologies that help students better comprehend and retain information. What's more is that it also helps students through each step of the writing process to improve writing proficiency.

I'd love to talk more about this! You can find me on our blog, Facebook or Twitter. You can email me at connect(at)inspiration.com as well.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on Webspiration Classroom and teaching paperless!
